It’s Monday! What Are You Writing? is a place where writers meet and write their own posts about their writing goals for the week and accomplishments.
Inspired by Sheila of Book Journey
To participate, answer the following three (3) questions…
- What did you write last week?
- What will you write this week?
- What were your successes and setbacks from last week?
Last week: I had biggest crazy fun of writing than I’ve ever had. I wrote 17,237. As you know, I joined the 10KDay Challenge with Fear of Writing. The goal was to write 10,000 words – basically a full day of writing. I wrote 10,104 words! Toot! Toot! I’ve decided that Where God Took My Soul will be a memoir. Writing this manuscript has allowed weight to be lifted from my shoulders life. My life has been amazing. I’ve experienced trials and tribulations; pain and purpose; lies and lessons learned.
I am also working on a two book devotional series that will release in 2012 and 2013. I purchased the domain names for the next five years, wrote out my first draft outline and draft marketing plan. I will share the names either this week or next week …maybe!
This week: My goal is to write 1000 words per day and edit a bit over the weekend. I am determined to have my first rough draft completed by February 15th.
Success: Completing the 10KDay Challenge.
Setbacks: None
Your turn! Let us know what you are writing by leaving a comment with a link to your blog post.

It was awesome to read about your writing. I did not meet with Connie today as I was getting a skiing lesson….. my plan however if all works out is to go to our cabin this weekend and write the entire weekend. My biggest obstacle in getting time alone to write so I am trying to make time to get away once a month.
